Located at 6001 W Oakey, behind the Mountain View Church, the garden boasts 90 individual beds and a 20′ x 50′ community bed. The orchard, with 56 fruit trees, contributes to local food banks, with significant donations made in recent years.

Situated within Craig Ranch Park, Garden Farms offers a welcoming space for those without personal gardening areas. The community garden features “Pick-It-Yourself” markets, hands-on classes, and volunteer events, fostering a connection between residents and sustainable gardening practices.
UNLV Campus Community Garden
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, hosts a Campus Community Garden aimed at promoting organic, pesticide-free gardening among students, faculty, and staff. With 41 raised beds, the garden serves as a hub for learning about sustainability, nutrition, and wellness. Applications for garden plots are accepted at the beginning of each fall semester.
Chimera Golf Club’s Water-Smart Initiative
In Henderson, the Chimera Golf Club is developing a community garden that utilizes water-smart methods to address regional water restrictions. This initiative aims to supply fresh produce to the clubhouse restaurant and support local residents, particularly those in need.
